What is Baseball5?

Baseball5 is the dynamic urban variant of baseball, officially recognized by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). Played with teams of 5 players using only hands - no bats, no gloves, just pure skill and a rubber ball.

5 players per team (mixed gender required)
5 innings per game (15-20 minutes)
Played anywhere - indoors, outdoors, any flat surface

Baseball5 will make its official debut at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Senegal. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) confirmed Baseball5 as one of the 25 sports, featuring a mixed-gender format with full gender equality.
